I love filming weddings. It’s so amazing to give someone the gift of special memories! A wedding film allows the person to hear the laughter and to relive the moments. I love to learn about other people and their cultures, it helps me learn about myself and to grow as a person.
Brien is a Philadelphia based filmmaker with a background in writing, filmmaking, business and science. Having served as a Marine for six years (Desert Shield and Desert Storm) and completing his military service with an honorable discharge, he’s still a proud Veteran, with the deepest of gratitude for all that serve.
Brien earned a degree from the Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood, CA. A Business B.A. and an Associate’s degree in biology from the University of South Carolina while he was serving our country.
Brien’s other education came in the form of private teachers such as Colleen Hunt, Barry Putt, Ron Underwood, David Schmoeller, Jane Lynch, Dr. Danny Desmond and Paul Parker. His work includes both feature films and television. Brien’s television experience includes PBS, KABC for the TV show “In the Mix”, “Brittany & Kevin: Chaotic”, and the Emmy Nominated show “Junkyard Wars” for TLC, where he Produced, Edited and was a Post Production Supervisor. Brien’s films include the documentary “The Adventures to Digital Comics” where he was the Director of Photography, as well as co-writer and editor for the documentary “Scavullo”, about the famous fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo. Brien’s rich cinematography experiences include: editor, cinematographer, sound, camera, crew, directing and production activities; ranging from television, movies, award shows to weddings. No matter what area of cinematography Brien is working, he’s passionate about it and will carry that same level of passion and professionalism to your event.
